"I was in attendance at the annual PIL Athletic Hall of Fame Dinner on Sunday eve. Jefferson inductees for this year included Bob Hull whom all of us remember as the toughest conditioner, getting us into shape, of all the coaches we had at Jeff in any sport. Also, big John Thies was inducted.
Haven't seen him since we graduated. He .... was in great spirits and humbled by his award."
